I love doorways! This is the doorway to the Royal Palace in Fez. Unfortunately, you are not allowed inside but, as with most doorways, my imagination runs wild as to what lies behind!

I too am fascinated by doorways. I have taken a few doorway photos in my time, but none match the grandeur of this one!
Doorways large and small, grand and simple all have a story to tell. Maybe this is why we all love them!
I think everyone loves a good doorway. This one surpasses many though. It’s amazing! Hmm, wonder what does lie behind it. What shame we’re not allowed to see inside.

This is just so beautiful – so much work went into these structures. It’s just mind-boggling. I know what you mean about doorways. I also like shots of windows and archways. Architecture is a wonderful thing! Lovely photo!
They don’t make them like they used to, do they!! Archways and windows also appeal to me but somehow, doorways seem to feature a lot more!
