West Australian wildflowers can be seen far and wide in the State from June through to October and November.
This week we have been in Broome escaping from the southern winter. Broome provides an early introduction to wildflower season with the beautiful Kimberley Desert Rose adding colour to the scorched earth. This one, with a mid crimson flower, is my favourite.
Beautiful clarity Jenny. What camera did you use?
Jan
Thanks Jan. I have a Canon 550D! I was playing with a new lens and fluked this shot!!
So pretty Jenny!
Thanks Marina. One of my favourites!!
I just love that photo. The colours are so vibrant against the background. Great shot. 🙂
Julia
Thanks Julia. It really is the most beautiful flower.
Those are gorgeous, Jenny! I love Aussie wildflowers, though I haven’t seen these ones yet. So pretty! 🙂
Thanks Krista. They are beautiful aren’t they but are only found in the Kimberleys. Looks like you may have to plan a trip over here to see them!
